However, we are not sure how this will affect Google Play. According to Google, they are an effective tool for full-fledged apps and their use will not affect Google Play numbers. It will be interesting to see if usage rates will be affected during future announcements.

Google launched it only as a test run with the apps mentioned above. Google collects user feedback to see how these apps work in the real world. Developers can prepare for Instant App launches by modulating their apps into easy components. However, the full SDK will not be available for several months. Once the developer has done this, it may take a while to implement it depending on the structure of the application.

Now they are very useful for users because they make some actions easier and faster. Whether it’s paying for parking or looking for a prescription, it can easily change the way people use their devices. According to recent reports, they will work with Android devices running Jelly Bean and above.

Should you start building Instant Apps?

Instant App Development takes about 4-6 weeks. Once an app is created, the Play Console provides support for distributing it. Developers just need to upload the instant app APK along with the installable APK. They keep improving the latest Android devices all over the world.

There are many benefits of expanding it, some of which are user acquisition, better UX, better user retention, and improved accessibility. Instant apps tend to have best ASO practices. Millions  of app developers  want to see their apps in search results and hence, the competition continues.

Instant apps are a great idea, especially for gaming apps. They are perfect for those who don’t have a website. App content can be accessed from search and can open it like a website. However, if you have a website that is already reachable by URL, there is no reason to implement it.

If instant apps will perform well, it will likely bring a lot of changes to game apps with large APK sizes. Since this is just the beginning, we’re not sure how successful it will be. However, one thing we can say is that the user experience will improve in the future with the launch of Instant Apps.
